Case Study
The Chase Building
The Chase Building on Arkle Road, located in the heart of Sandyford Business District, has achieved remarkable carbon savings for 2024 compared to the previous year. Optimise Everything is thrilled to announce a 12.5% reduction in overall energy consumption (2024 vs. 2023), with an impressive 18% reduction in gas usage alone. This achievement equates to a savings of over 63 tonnes of carbon—comparable to removing approximately 59 cars from the road for an entire year.
Owned by Kennedy Wilson, The Chase Building spans 16,200 sq m (174,400 sq ft) across eight floors. The building boasts a BER B3 energy rating and is targeting a Very Good BREEAM In-Use certification.
This significant progress is the result of the dedicated efforts of the onsite team at The Chase Building, led by Building Manager Gediminas Kryzanauskas, Aramark, and Sean Deery from Optimise Everything, with support from the optimisation platform, Scope.
In addition to reducing energy and carbon emissions, health and wellness remain central to our sustainable building strategy at The Chase Building. We continuously monitor air quality and the amount of fresh outdoor air, for example, ensuring the wellbeing of our occupants is prioritised.
